  1. INTRODUCTION

Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of organizational policies, strategies and operational and organizational activities provides government officials, development managers, civil society as a whole with great enhanced means of improvement. It builds from M&E in that it follows a participatory approach to project monitoring and evaluation.

The majority of bilateral and multilateral international partners utilize logical framework approach for project designs, and it is therefore imperative that all local staff involved in the monitoring and evaluation of projects are conversant with the management tool and its use.

The course addresses PPME for the entire results chain, including the all-important outcomes. This 10-day course covers the principles, and embeds the practice of PPME for results.
