COURSE OVERVIEW
The course sharpens the participants understanding of various aspects of crime and how to control it. The political, legal, social and individual factors that lead to occurrence of crime and how to mitigate it. The participants are also challenged to a deeper analysis of the justice and crime control system, the role of different facets in crime control. These includes, courts, prisons, the police and public and private legal practitioners.
